Can't believe there are no comments yet. This website is exceptional! So beautifully and clearly presented - with exactly the information I wanted and needed. Thank you so very much for creating it and offering it to the wide world out there. I offer great thanks for your generosity, intelligence and artistry.
I agree with Lyrinda Snyderman. I've seen 'The Fall' just a few minutes from now, and I needed to check what the locations are. This blog is very useful. Congratulations!
Great blog! All the locations here! But... I read on the credits that Chile was a location... Im chilean so i wonder where did they film! Maybe the uknowns places are from chile... If i find the exact names of the places i'll tell you. :)
Thanks for all the wonderful comments! I'm so happy that what started off as an obsessive little project for my own compulsive needs has come to be appreciated by such a wide audience. :)
Just saw the movie and I'm very grateful that someone has posted the filing locations. This is an incredibly artistic visual experience and I read that there is no special effects (computer graphics) anywhere in the film. This just whet my appetite to know where these glorious filming locations were.
Hi! I found this blog post a few months ago and immediately decided to make a bucket list of these film locations. The Fall is my favorite movie! I’m mid-travels right now and was able to knock off all but 2 of the European locations (totally forgot about the Statue if Liberty in Paris, and did not go to Spain). Villa Adriana was my favorite and so worth the extra trek! I just imagined what it must have been like with the film crew there’d I got goosebumps. Anyways, this is just a long winded way of saying thank you for writing this post and please know that, all these years later, it’s not just lost somewhere in cyberspace!
I tried to find all the locations on my own, but some were just too difficult so I watched the DVD commentaries. Tarsem and Lee Pace were particularly great at mentioning the locations, as were Nico Soultanakis and Dan Gilroy, so thank you all! Now, if you could email me with the ones I'm missing, that would be good too!
