it's the "Teatro Opera" enter hall in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It has an art-deco arquitecture and its beautiful, i live near(im from Argentina) and i was there last week watching "The Phantom of the Opera"and recognise the view of the floor. I love this movie thanks for posting the info. Here is a wikipedia link and a video that shows a very similar aereal view: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwzijIxK2QU http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teatro_Opera
I tried to find all the locations on my own, but some were just too difficult so I watched the DVD commentaries. Tarsem and Lee Pace were particularly great at mentioning the locations, as were Nico Soultanakis and Dan Gilroy, so thank you all! Now, if you could email me with the ones I'm missing, that would be good too!
